30 in 30 in 30 Day one

I'm taking part in Leslie Saeta's 30 in 30... 30 paintings in 30 days. I'm pushing it a bit more, I'm using 30 strokes to do my painting. I've been meaning to be more mindful of my brush strokes, and this seemed a perfect opportunity for some practice. This is watered down acrylic on watercolor paper. I hope I get better, at painting and at counting strokes! :D

I love your idea of using 30 stokes! It makes each stroke very purposeful and accomplishes a painting without excess. I like this one a lot!

Thanks Patrice... it's harder than I thought it would be. Should be good for me.

Beautiful, blog, Lauren! I am going to add it to my favorites list. Your florals are awesome. And what a great idea about 30 strokes. Hope you don't mind if I still it for a few of mine for the challenge. So glad you're doing the challenge.

Well, I had to dust it off a bit. LOL
Thanks very much... and of course you can use the 30 strokes idea! I'm sure I'm probably not the first one to come up with that. :)
