Cha cha cha Changes.....
Our house is for sale...Something we were considering for about a year...but now... We are serious about it! Not entirely sure where we'll end up, which is a bit of a dizzying prospect... My vote is the Traverse City area...(One of our families favorite destinations) My hubby is thinking south east I think, maybe North Carolina area...I'm ok with that too.
I've been clearing out and tidying up... It really is a fantastic house, and I hope that whoever is lucky enough to live here... will enjoy it as much as we have! :)

Well, if weather is a consideration, check this out:

PS - Asheville is magical. Cold in the winter, but right in the middle of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Also less than 6 hour drive from the beach at wilmington, where they shot Dawson's Creek.
Wow! We just put our house on the market too after talking about it for a while. Any tips on house prep? Our current plan is to move to the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon...home for my husband. I like the muted tones in "Community". And, BIG congrats on your show and being approached by the gallery! Coooooool!
Hi Shannon!
LOL... We have talked about Asheville. I really don't like hot weather, so that climate really appeals to me! And I love them thar hills. :) We'll see where the winds blow us...
LOL... not very often is there a cross-post on my blog, Peggy! (cue twilight zone music)
As far as house prep tips? I'm in a big de-clutter and tossing or giving away everything I don't love mood. Quite liberating actually! And fixing all those naggy little things one never seems to get to until it's time to sell. :) Good luck with your plans!
I LOVE THIS PIECE - the colors, oh, among my favorites. I hope your move is hugely successful and won't keep you away from the easel for long!
Thanks so much Celeste! Thanks for the good wishes about our impending move too. Won't be too soon, I imagine... Not a lot of people moving into Michigan these days, with the auto industry on such shaky ground. Hopefully things will begin to turn around soonish rather than laterish. :)
I wish you the best with whatever happens, Lauren! I hope it's not too far away, so Sue and I can come and bug you! LOL
Gee Patty... even if it's far away, I hope you and Sue come and bug me! :)(sorry, somehow I missed your post!)
